About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced bench jeweler to join our production team in our Diamond District workshop in NYC. You’ll work on custom engagement rings, designer collections, and high-end repairs, directly contributing to the quality and finishing of every piece that leaves our workshop. This role requires precision, efficiency, and pride in craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform soldering, assembly, polishing, and finishing on custom jewelry pieces
- Complete ring sizing, repairs, and modifications to client and production specifications
- Work with gold, platinum, and other precious metals across custom and production jobs
- Collaborate closely with stone setters and other bench jewelers on complex pieces
- Maintain strict quality control on finished pieces before delivery
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining craftsmanship standards
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bench jeweler experience
- Strong proficiency in soldering, filing, polishing, and finishing techniques
- Hands-on experience working with gold, platinum, and silver
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
Nice to Have
- Formal jewelry training or certification
- Experience with laser welding
- Basic CAD/CAM familiarity
- Stone setting experience
